The Josep Berch Bonsai School was opened on April 2001 in the village of CALDERS (Barcelona). It is managed by JOSEP BERCH, who started to collect more than 25 years ago, as a hobby,  what is now one of the most important bonsai collections of Catalunya.
Nowadays, JOSEP BERCH dedicates all his time to the world of Bonsai. His objective is to make Bonsai as well known as he can in the central Catalunya area and to spread this millenary art by providing the highest quality training. This quality comes, in part, from his 25 years of experience and his frequent visits to Japan where he has continuously improved his technical and artistical level.

At the Josep Berch Bonsai School you will not only find theoretical and practical classes. You will enjoy a permanent display of the private collection, a display of bonsai on sale, as well as high quality pre-bonsai trees that will enable you to start your own collection. You will also find all type of kits for bonsai: tools, soil, pots, etc. All this surrounded by a Japanese garden and cosy installations designed to facilitate teaching bonsai.
